It is a land locked country located in South Asia.Its area is 147,181 square kilometers (56,827 sq mi) and a population of approximately 27 million. It is 93rd largest country by land mass. Its northern  part is bordered by China and east,west and north part is bordered by India. Kathmandu is its capital.

It is very rich in geography. Its northern part is covered by mountains. The tallest mountain  Mount Everest also called as Sagarmatha (in Nepali).It also has t en tallest mountains in the world. Not only in mountains Nepal is also rich in water sources. It is second richest country in water source in the world.
